BIO / GARRETT EVERS
Garrett Evers, tenor, joins the ensemble of Staatstheater Meiningen in the 2025-26 season. He will make his European, house, and role debut as Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni). Other role debuts in the 25-26 season at Staatstheater Meiningen include Rodolfo (La bohème), Edwin (Die Csárdásfürstin), Cassio (Otello), Araspe (Didone Abbandonata), Walther von der Vogelweide (Tannhäuser), and Froh (Das Rheingold).
Garrett is an alumni of development programs including Mascarade Opera Emerging Artist Program, The Santa Fe Opera Apprentice Program for Singers, and the Palm Beach Opera Apprentice Artist Program. While at Mascarade Opera Garrett was proudly named a Maria Manetti Shrem Artist. He completed both Bachelor and Masters studies at The Florida State University.
While an Apprentice at The Santa Fe Opera Summer 2024, he performed the roles of Gastone (La traviata) and Kellner Einz (Die Rosenkavalier). During the 2024 Palm Beach Opera season, he sang the roles of Nathanäel and Spalanzani (Les contes d’Hoffmann). While in University Garrett performed the roles of Rodolfo (La bohème), Tamino (Die Zauberflöte), Mitch (A Streetcar Named Desire), and Bénédict (Béatrice & Bénédict).
